“The Hotel Villagio Stromboli is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places you can stay. Located on Stromboli, which retains its unique charm and is never overcrowded. It’s a wonderfully welcoming, family-run hotel with a fascinating history – Ingrid Bergman shot a legendary film here in the 1950s. Built in an authentic, slightly maze-like style, it sits right by the water and offers spectacular views. Life here reflects the island’s authentic style – nothing is overdone, yet everything is well cared for. Combined with the island’s charm, the spectacular volcano, and the incredibly friendly people, there’s really no choice but to come back.”
“The property is very pretty. The rooms are standalone, bungalow-type rooms with their own small patio out front. I was pleased with the spacious room itself, but the bathroom needs serious updating. Lunch was very good and the wait staff were very friendly. They know their regional wines and gave good recommendations.”
“The hotel is quite basic, but overall it’s fine. It’s comfortable, well located, and feels safe. Of course, it’s pricey for what it is, but that’s expected in Stromboli since there aren’t many options. In that sense, it was just what I expected, so I’m happy with my stay. What I didn’t really understand was being charged extra to use the pool as a guest, and having to wear a swim cap, I’ve never seen that before. Also, breakfast could last a bit longer; we’re on holiday and paying for it, so a little more flexibility would be appreciated.”

Gorgeous views, access to the beach, swimming pool, restaurants . Comfortable bed, AC, fridge, TV. Wonderful dayly service from the amazing team. Everyone is helpful, nothing is a problem. I would move in forever if I could! Breakfast service with fresh, delicious products. The best coffee ever! You need to be there to understand, as words can't describe it.
